My doctor is sending me for an ultrasound on my gallbladder. I called to ask if there were mild stomach flus going around. I've been having problems with nausea, some vomiting, queasiness, especially when I think about most foods, stomach pain, and difficulty burping. I also have a lot of low back pain but that may be unrelated. When my stomach hurts I sometimes lay down and apply a bit of pressure to my stomach and diaphragm. They feel quite hard.

My doctor tells me that problems with the gallbladder can run a whole range of symptoms from mild to severe attacks. Does anyone have some info. that you could share with me? The online sites I've been to don't really cover the range of severity. I have to wait another month for my ultrasound. That seems excessively long to me. That's our universal healthcare system for you.

I have had gallbladder disease for 8 years now, just recently diagnosed. I have stomach pain quite often followed by vomiting episodes. They had me on ranitidine which didn't really work. Now I am on AcipHex and just last night had a real bad episode. I do not have insurance and the test and removal is currently out of question to have done. Can anything serious happen if I keep my "bad" gallbladder in and continue to take medicine that doesn't seem to help?

I have been on Yasmin for about two and a half years now. When I first started using I told my doctor that I was having adominal pain and was told that it was me getting used to the pill so I paid it no mind. Over the course of the next year, I had been to the doctor reporting waves of contractions and was told that I was stress, depressed, acid reflux, an STD. None of which is true. It has gotten worse and next week I am scheduled to have my gall bladder removed. I am also set to start my new pill pack tomarrow and just happened to flip through it and noticed that "oral contraceptive users probably have a greater risk than nonusers of having gallbladder disease..." I read the booklet years ago and of course at the time was simple enough. I am going to go of it and talk to my doctor tomarrow. But I was wondering if there was anyone out there with similar experience. I want to keep my gallbladder but fear its too late.

Well, when I first went to the hospital, they thought I had an ectopic pregnancy, and it turned out to be a g.b. attack.
I had been having strange pains lately that resemble a gallbladder attack, but not quite.
I've been told that I'm at risk for an ectopic pregnancy, so I was just curious. I plan on going to the doctor soon just to make sure.

im 21 yr old female(me in the pic) and i have been having pain so i went to the my Doctor and she said it has to come out. the pain right now it TERRIBLE!!! and im just wondering if you or someone you know have gotten theres taken out? and if so how did you or they do during and after the surgery?

I've looked for references on this subject and the literature indicates studies done on untreated Celiacs. I am a proven Celiac and I have followed a strict Gluten free diet for the last nearly 6 years. I also have been having symptoms only in the middle of the night identical to that represented by the term "biliary colic." Ulstrasound is negative. Any suggestions about how to proceed from here?

I've noticed that I have the symptoms of having gallstones and like gallbladder disease. I don't know if it is actually possible for someone my age to have it? I am going to talk to my mom about all of this, but I was curious if anyone has experience with this? Reply please. I'm very curious about this. And a little bit worried.
