I feel really alone! and quite scared . Ive never had any surgerys before and I thought since I was young and pretty healthy I wouldnt have to worry about things like this for a long time! I am pondering the aspect of just dealing with the pain and the acid reflucts but it affects me all day everyday, so i dont know what to do . Surgery or deal with it!?

My internist suspects that I may have some gallstones due to location/quality of pain and nausea that seems to come and go at will. I've also been having a lot of gas and multiple bms everyday, although not diarrhea. Can that be another symptom of gallstones?

I am 18 years old. back in december of 08 i had my galbladder removed because of disease. earlier this year i was now diagnoised with endometrosis. thing is everyone has told me that it runs in the family, yet no one in my family, even far back has it... and i am one of the most unusual cases doctors have seen seeing as im so young..
so my question is is there any research suggesting that the two could be related?
website links would be great!!
thanks

I know that birth control increases the chance of gallbladder disease, BUT has anyone had any personal experience with this? Possibly with birth control pills creating a gallbladder attack?

My doctor FINALLY figured it all out and says it's about time we take out my gallbladder (he's been trying to figure this out for months with no answers)...but my question is...why have I gained 30 pounds since these attacks? I'd think I'd be LOSING weight..not the other way around...
And when I do have my surgery will I gain more even if I follow the diet?
